Bitcoin Oasis: the first Bitcoin-only conference in Dubai
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on Linkedin

On the 8th and 9th of February 2024, Bitcoin Oasis will be held in Dubai, a new Bitcoin-only conference which represents a first for the UAE. Dubai over the past few years has established itself as a crypto hub, attracting a lot of companies, holders and events from the crypto industry, but high quality Bitcoin focused events were always lacking.

Bitcoin Oasis will bring for the first time to Dubai several industry leaders, such as Prince Filip of Serbia, Stephan Livrera, Giacomo Zucco, Alejandro de la Torre, Pete Rizzo, Marshall Long, Federico Tenga and many others. One of the big topics of the conference will be Bitcoin mining and the opportunities in the UAE energy market, but there will also be many panels and talks on global adoption, the regulatory environment, Bitcoin and Islamic finance and investments in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The conference is organised using an unusual format, with a day in a classical conference setup and a second day on a yacht, where round tables and panels will be held. Moreover, on the 10th there will also be a community day which will be accessible also to people that did not buy the conference ticket.

This event follows a series of initiatives that are helping to make the UAE a strategic location for Bitcoin companies, such as the creation of the Digital Asset Oasis free zone and of the Bitcoin Association of UAE. On top of this, the Emirates can already offer a very business friendly environment with low taxation and ease of setting up business, which helped to attract many digital entrepreneurs and Bitcoin holders.

For information and registration to Bitcoin Oasis you can visit their website.
