A new wallet for digital assets on Bitcoin: the first interface integrating RGB and Lightning Network, developed by the Bitfinex team.

Iris Wallet Desktop has been released—a wallet developed by the Bitfinex team that integrates the RGB protocol on Lightning Network through an intuitive and accessible user interface.

The first version of the software, available for Linux and macOS, allows users to experiment with the technology on both testnet and regtest environments. Windows support is expected in upcoming releases.

To facilitate the testing phase, developers have implemented a dedicated Telegram bot for the regtest version, providing users with test bitcoins, digital assets, and Lightning Network invoices. This enables experimentation with the wallet’s functionalities in a controlled environment.

The released version is open-source, allowing developers to inspect, modify, and freely use the code.

The developers emphasized the importance of user feedback for continuous improvement, encouraging users to report any issues directly on the project’s GitHub repository.
