Bitdeer, a Bitcoin mining company based in Singapore, has recently announced the successful completion of testing for its latest mining chip, SEAL03.
According to the company’s statement, the new chip has met the performance targets outlined in the SEALMINER technology roadmap.
The team stated:
“The verification and prototype tests of the SEAL03 chip have demonstrated an exceptional energy efficiency ratio of 9.7J/TH, operating in low-voltage and ultra-energy-saving mode.”
The SEAL03 chip will be integrated into the upcoming SEALMINER A3 series machines. Bitdeer plans to begin mass production in the second half of the year. Meanwhile, the company is already working on the development of the next SEAL04 chip, following its planned release roadmap.
Matt Kong, Chief Business Officer at Bitdeer, stated that SEAL03 has achieved a key performance milestone following prototype testing. The company’s commitment to research and development is “making possible innovative solutions that are setting new performance benchmarks that will benefit the wider mining ecosystem,” he commented.
