If the trend of recent days were to continue, BlackRock could surpass Grayscale in the amount of bitcoins held within the next 14 days of trading.

Currently, BlackRock‘s iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) holds 243,126 bitcoins, equivalent to approximately $16 billion. The average daily inflows are around $274 million, resulting in an increase of approximately 4,120 bitcoins per day.

On the other hand, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) holds 350,252 bitcoins, equivalent to about $23 billion. However, the fund is experiencing an average daily outflow of nearly $277 million, resulting in a withdrawal of 4,140 bitcoins every day. On March 18th, the fund saw a net outflow of $643 million.

If the current trend continues, it is expected that BlackRock may surpass Grayscale in the number of bitcoins held by April 11th. However, if BlackRock’s daily inflows were to return to the levels of the previous week, around 7,200 bitcoins per day, an overtaking could occur in less than ten days.
