Swiss bank Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB) introduces Bitcoin and Ethereum trading and custody services.

On September 4, Zürcher Kantonalbank (ZKB), Switzerland‘s fourth-largest bank, announced the introduction of Bitcoin and Ethereum trading and custody services.

The bank has partnered with Crypto Finance AG, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse, for trading services, while developing an in-house solution for the custody of digital assets.

ZKB, which manages over $200 billion in assets, will offer the new services through its mobile app, online banking, and traditional channels.

ZKB’s decision could encourage other Swiss and European banks to explore and potentially implement services related to digital assets.
