Following the hack that occurred on January 17th and the recent increase in the price of Bitcoin, the hacker is selling customers’ information on the dark web.

On January 17th, 2024, the hardware wallet manufacturer Trezor experienced a security breach that resulted in unauthorized access to the support portal, exposing the contact information of approximately 66,000 users who had previously interacted with the Trezor Support service since December 2021. Names, usernames, and email addresses were among the stolen data.

Following the recent surge in the price of Bitcoin, the hacker has decided to sell Trezor customers’ information on the dark web.

According to a new report by Daily Dark Web, a database containing 66,000 email addresses of Trezor customers is now being sold on the dark web for the price of 1.5 BTC.
