The service is planned by the end of 2026 for European institutional and corporate clients
Deutsche Bank plans to launch a digital asset custody service for institutional and corporate clients in Europe by the end of 2026. The launch remains subject to completion of applicable regulatory reviews.
At launch, the service will support a limited selection of digital assets, including bitcoin, ether, and the stablecoins USDC and EURC.
Deutsche Bank says the development of the offering will depend on client demand, regulatory requirements, and the bank’s risk appetite.
Gerald Podobnik, co-head of the Corporate Bank, said digital assets complement the traditional financial system and that the service will coexist with existing infrastructure.
