Bitmain launches the new Antminer S21+ Hyd. and Antminer S21+ models

During the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference, the company that produces Bitcoin mining machines presented the new Antminer S21+ Hyd. and Antminer S21+ models.

During the Bitcoin Amsterdam 2024 conference, Chinese company Bitmain announced two new machine models designed to improve energy efficiency of mining: the Antminer S21+ Hyd. and the Antminer S21+.

The Antminer S21+ Hyd. boasts an energy efficiency ratio of 15.0 J/T with an individual processing capacity of 319T. The S21+ instead offers an efficiency of 16.5 J/T with a computing capacity of 216T.

Launch of other products

In addition to the two main models, Bitmain introduced a range of other mining products, such as the oil-cooled Antminer S21 XP Imm., the air-cooled Antminer S21 XP, and a water-cooled container called Antrack. These products were designed to meet diverse customer needs in the mining sector.

Hash rate at all-time highs

According to Hashrate Index data, Bitcoin’s hash rate reached a new all-time high in October. The hash rate increased from 625 EH/s on October 1st to 696 EH/s on October 9th, surpassing the previous peak of 693 EH/s in September.
